Beginner Sailing Course Jan 11-12, 2020

Two-day adult sailing classes are offered most weekends from 9 am to 4 pm at Fiddler's Cove Marina. Classes are open to all eligible MWR patrons and sponsored guests.

Class fees per person vary by military affiliation and rank. Dependent fees are calculated at the sponsoring active duty or retiree rate. Pre-registration is recommended as classes can fill up quickly.

Registration includes boat rental, instruction and textbooks. Students per boat will be kept to the minimum amount possible in order to maximize learning potential, and will range from one to four. Number of students per boat is dependent on the boat size, sailing conditions and the skills being developed in the class. On completion of the course, participants receive a Navy Qualification Card.
