EBAA Run for Vision 2023

Join ophthalmologists, eye bankers, corneal transplant recipients, and donor family members to support EBAA’s mission to restore sight through cornea donation and transplantation. Sponsored by Bausch + Lomb, EBAA is once again hosting our annual Run for Vision. This year, you can participate in person in San Francisco on November 5.    

Live 5K Event
If you are attending the AAO conference in San Francisco, join us for this time-honored tradition of running with your fellow conference goers. The 5k will take place on Sunday, November 5th at 7:00am at Lake Merced (Sunset Parking Lot - Sunset Blvd and Lake Merced Blvd). We will provide shuttle transportation from select AAO meeting hotels to/from the race site.

Run as a Team 
The only thing better than supporting the gift of sight is doing it with your friends and colleagues. Use the Run for Vision as a team building or community outreach initiative for your eye bank and ophthalmic practice and help spread awareness of the importance of corneal donation and transplantation.  To encourage you to run as part of a team, we will take 30% off the registration fee for all teams of three or more.

Regardless of how you participate, your entire contribution will help EBAA restore sight to blind and visually-impaired individuals in the U.S. and around the world through cornea transplantation and research.  That’s because a generous grant from the Bausch + Lomb Foundation underwrites all our race expenses, so 100% of your registration fee comes directly to us.
