Labour Day Swim Bike Run & BBQ

Escape the summer heat and join us at the San Buenaventura beach park on LABOUR DAY  

Bike:  Meet at 10am inside San Buenaventura Beach Park.   Route is Ventura to Carpinteria ( turnaround Rincon Point approx 30 miles return) Out and Back with an option to go to Santa Barbara for a longer ride (approx. 45 miles) , The route has no elevation and we will regroup. We stop for mechanicals & flats. This is a nondrop ride. All levels welcome. Wear your CALTRI gear.

Run: 3-mile out and back along the beachfront bikepath @ conversational pace  Leaving immediately after the bike. Around 12 ..Noon 

Lunch: Potluck BBQ at San Buenaventura Beach Park (Bring a side dish and your favorite beverage to share, HOSTS will provide , water & an entree )  - approximately 12:30 to 3 pm.  

Swim :There will be an ocean swim at 8AM , if you are a kayaker and or would like to support the swim, we could use a couple volunteers, please email  Erin or Paul , Swimmers must be able to swim 400y in a pool non stop.
