Description
The Visalia Pride Lions Club is calling all Lions and friends and family of Lions to fight diabetes. November is Diabetes Awareness Month. What better time to focus on supporting the City of Hope Diabetes Innovation Center than to get out and get moving. The Innovation Fund is an MD-4, Lions sponsored project focused on finding a cure for Diabetes. This is a virtual team race. Form a team (or 2 or 3 or...) of at least 5, align with a Lions Club, and run, walk, bike, wheelchair, etc all at your own pace. All Lions teams with 5 members will have a $50 donation made to the City of Hope in their name. have more than 5 Lions who want to participate, create a second and third team. Each full team gets a $50 donation in the name of the club. Can't get 5 Lions? Well, bring in family, friends, non-Lions to fill your team. If you are a lone ranger that is fine too--all are welcome--we will get you aligned with a team. Additional donations will be made in the club's name based on rankings at the end of the race. Join Visalia Pride Lions Club for a race to cure diabetes.
Race is open from 1 - 30 November and places are determined by total miles.
