Description
Celebrate the women and girls in your life in this family-friendly event to commemorate the achievements of Title IX, the landmark equality legislation signed by President Nixon fifty-two years ago.
Bring your family, friends, sports teams and community groups to the NIXON 5K FOR TITLE IX and run (or walk) this moderate course following Yorba Linda’s El Cajon Trail. Athletes are encouraged to wear their favorite team gear supporting female sports! This is accessible for runners of all levels; strollers are welcome and dogs are allowed. Following the race, guests are invited to stop by the vendor fair in the Library parking lot!

All 5K finishers will recieve an official Finisher medal.
Additional medals will also be given to:
Over All 1st-3rd Male and Female winners and 1st-3rd Male and Female winners in the following age groups:
10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+
Ages are based on runners age on the event date. Over all awards are based on Gun Start time and Age Group awards are based on Chip time.
