Human connection is an undeniable source of support for those of us who struggle with mental health issues, so the advent of COVID-19 has put an extra layer of pressure on us all. In-person gatherings are few and far between, and the overall uncertainty about what will happen next seems ever-present. Now, more than ever, the need to sustain emotional literacy is critical.

Our financial goal with this event is to make it our best hike yet by raising $18,000 to increase our reach in Roaring Fork Valley workplaces from Aspen to Parachute. We connect with people in their workplaces because we have learned that 75% of our population is between the ages of 19-67 and one out of four of those folks encounter some kind of mental health issue at that time.

Workplace Partnerships take a lot of research and time to understand the culture and their existing wellness benefits. Aspen Strong is working hard to build mental health resources in every business and organization in our community to make our valley a healthier and more vibrant place to thrive.
