Description
The Community College of Aurora is holding it's second annual FoxTrot 5K. This year's event will be virtual. This means participants will be able to compete at any location and on any day during the month of October. Results can be input online at the runner's convenience.
The FoxTrot 5K is a fundraiser for the Community College of Aurora (CCA) Foundation. While continuing to serve the most diverse student population in Colorado, the CCA Foundation awarded over $500,000 in scholarships last year. This year, you can help by becoming a Fundraiser when you register for this year's race.
Fundraising and Prizes
Swag
Every participant receives a Community College of Aurora Mask and a Finisher's Medal. You will also have the option to buy the VIP Swag Bag: a Community College of Aurora Tech T-shirt and a Water Bottle.
Fundrasing
If you choose to be a Fundraiser and raise $100 by 10/31, you will receive $15 refund off your registration fee (Only 1 person of the family registration can qualify for the refund). $100 gift cards to Runners Roost will be awarded to the people who raise the most money and receive the most donations.
Results
Prizes will also be awarded to the top 3 male and female 5K times. As well as the person who logs the most miles! and runs the most times. You can also be eligible to receive raffle prizes by participating in the online results platform.
Virtual Event Information and Schedule
For 2020 FoxTrot 5K, the race will be virtual. The whole month of October will be available for you to run one or as many 5K's as you like! Wherever and whenever you like.
- You're deadline to register and to enter results is October 31st at 11:59pm.
- Prizes will be awarded for top 3 men's and women's 5K times.
- Prizes for the most miles logged and the most times exercised.
- Raffle prizes for those who participate in the online results program.
- Packet Pickup will be by appointment on Campus or mailed to you. Details to follow.
