Crossover For Change Spooky Season 5K

Our mission is to empower girls and young women in developing countries through athletics.  We believe that athletics are the perfect vehicle to encourage future generations to create a better future for themselves by fostering confidence, empowerment, and leadership. We are planning a camp in Uganda at Maryhill School for over 400 girls in the summer of 2021 that will include everything from a career fair to basketball skills. In addition, we are constructing a basketball court in Uganda at Immaculate Heart School which is slated to host Uganda's National Basketball Championships once complete! Construction of the court has already started, but we still have not secured all of the funding we need to complete the project.

That’s where you come in! We are aiming to raise $5,000.

We are hosting a virtual 5k Halloween fun run that is set to take place over the weekend of Halloween- October 30 through November 1, and we want you to come!

We are encouraging costumes to get into the spirit! All of the proceeds go towards finishing the basketball court and the camp in the summer of 2021. 

Pricing is as follows:

$10- student (DISCOUNTED RATE)

$20- military/first responder (DISCOUNTED RATE)

$24- general admission

We’ll have winners in a variety of categories including: fastest overall female, fastest overall male, best team costumes, and best individual costume, largest donation and a raffle that everyone is eligible for. Every participant will also be mailed a sticker and participation award!  Winners will be announced on November 2nd.

If you do not feel like running, donations are also open.
