Place

1405 Wellington ave.

Description

March is National Brain Injury Awareness Month, and Hilltop's Life Adjustment Program (LAP) is hosting a virtual Fun Run this year! LAP is a residential supported living program for survivors of Brain Injuries in Grand Junction, CO.   Hilltop would like to invite you to help us in recognizing some of the amazing survivors in our programs and beyond.  This is a fun way to raise awareness about the reality of living with a brain injury and bring our communities together.
Due to current COVID precautions, we are unable to have our traditional in-person Fun Run this year, so we have the virtual option.  You can show your support by signing up to participate in the virtual event and walk, run, or roll for a distance of 3k. You can also make a direct one-time donation to our event without signing up for the Virtual 3k. All donations and funds collected from this event will be reinvested into Hilltop’s Brain Injury Services programs, which includes the residential and non-residential programs.
LAP residents and staff will be doing socially distanced laps around campus to total approx. 2miles, while having as much fun as we can!
When registering any survivors, please indicate them as “members” to receive the $10 discount upon checkout. By doing this, their participation fee is at no cost. You can also receive a free t-shirt when you register. Please see further details when completing registration.
