Adeo's Walk, Run or Roll

Welcome to the 11th Annual Walk, Run or Roll for Adeo! Same great race with a FUNDraising twist!

We are happy to announce the return of our two week virtual challenge! Once again, you can participate by cycling, skateboarding, and using indoor stationary equipment in addition to walking or running between August 29th and September 12th at your pace. However you choose to get those miles in, you’ll be supporting Adeo’s mission as you go…and, you’ll have 2 whole weeks to meet your Walk, Run or Roll goal.

CELEBRATE in person at our wrap-up event on Saturday, September 12th! More details to come.

NEW THIS YEAR! During registration, you will become a FUNDraiser for Adeo, raising funds to support our "Say Yes to Joy" fund, providing personalized enrichment activities for our residents. We have set a fundraising goal for each race participant of $250. Don't fret. We don't want this to be a barrier to participation, we just ask that you try. We will partner with you along the way with helpful tips, verbiage and activities to help you get there. Prizes will be awarded based on hitting goals throughout (see below). 

1. Register for your age category. 
2. Create your FUNDraiser page. Default verbiage is provided, but your friends and family will want to know why you find this work so important so feel free to personalize the message. Upload a picture of you! Keep the default goal, or update it to a stretch goal. 
3. Post your unique url sent to you via email on social media to get your community behind you. Be sure to tag #WalkRunRollAdeo
4. Watch your inbox for tips and tricks.
5. Complete your miles within 2 weeks between August 29th and September 12th. 
6. Save the Date! More details coming soon about the Walk, Run or Roll Wrap-up event on September 12th! 
7. Track your Progress with RaceJoy! RaceJoy is a phone App that uses GPS to track your miles all while giving you audio alerts for mileage and audio cheers to keep you motivated. It will automatically update your progress to the Results Page!  RaceJoy is an optional component to this year's race. You still have the option to log your completed miles manually. You can do that here. On August 26th, a link will appear at the top of the page directing you to submit virtual results.

Help us raise money for our "Say Yes to Joy" campaign which to funds personalized life enrichment activities for that bring joy to our residents’ daily lives. These experiences are what brings joy to our residents daily lives. Help us provide a life, elevated for Adeo clients. If each of us does a small part, reaching our goal and filling residents’ calendars with fun activities will be a piece of cake. Another reason to start fundraising...PRIZES!!!

Prizes will be given for:
Most money raised by an individual
Most number of donations received by an individual
Most money raised by a team
Most number of donations received by a team

PLUS, everyone who fundraises $100 will receive a custom t-shirt and those that reach their goal of $250 will receive a commemorative Yeti tumbler!
