Howl-O-Ween 5K

The Severance Chamber of Commerce is hosting our first ever Howl-O-Ween 5K! This is a family/doggie friendly run/walk adoption event that will take place at Severance Community Park. Strollers are welcome - this race is for all ages! We have a number of Fur-Baby Friendly Vendors (and then some) as well as Food Trucks who will be joining us for a day of Fall Fun! Be sure to come in a costume (you and your pup) because we will be having a costume contest!  

Registration/Check in Opens at 9:30 am
Race Starts at 10:30 am
Award Ceremony Starts at 11:30 am - 1st; 2nd and 3rd Place

The course is on paved roads going through some of the unpaved Great Western trail and a loop around the Severance High School Parking lot with multiple signs guiding you along the way. There will be an aid station at the turnaround with a special treat and water awaiting you. Volunteers will be located throughout the course to guide you and cross any major intersection, so be sure to High Five them and tell them “Thanks”. Events like this would not exist without our volunteers. The course will close at 11:30am but vendors and food trucks may be there until 2pm along with the ability to adopt dogs from Big Bones.

**$5 per every paid registration will be donated to Big Bones Canine Rescue

The race will begin and end at Severance Community Park.

**ALL MINORS under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a registered adult.

All participants who register prior to October 9th will be guaranteed a shirt, as supply is limited.

Day of Registration:

Adults - $27

Kids (12-17) - $17

Kids (8 -11) - $9

Kids (7 & Under) - FREE

Shirt if available (sizes will be limited).

"Extras" will be for sale the day of until supplies run out 

No Refunds or Transfers.

No early packet pickup is available.

**Dogs are welcome! Please make sure they are up to date on their vaccinations and are able to get along with other dogs
