The Miles of Smiles 5k is a neighborhood oriented, family event. The course begins and ends at Eldorado K-8 and winds through the trails on the south side of Coalton Rd. The race is sponsored by Dixon Orthodontics and all proceeds benefit Eldorado K-8 and Superior Elementary School. The run is times and prizes will be awarded to top three male and female finishers as well as top three finishers in age groups. All racers who register before 4/27/16 will receive a T-shirt. Following the race, a Community Spring Carnival will be held at the school, featuring games, food trucks, inflatables, a DJ and more. For more information on the carnival, go to www.eldoradok8pto.org

Dixon Orthodontics is a family-owned, local orthodontic practice located in Superior, CO and Westminster, CO. Dr. Gary Dixon, DDS, MS, is an orthodontic specialist. He earned his DDS from the Medical College of Virginia and his certificate in orthodontics at the University of Louisville, KY. Course Description
This scenice 3.1 mile course will start and end at Eldorado K-8 and wind you through the beautful open space of Superior. After leaving the school runners will cross over Indiana St, turn left and then make a quick right onto the dirt trail. They will weave through open space until they reach Rock Creek Circle where they will turn right. Following the sidewalk to Yarrow Rd runners will then make a sharp right u-turn to continue on the path back into the open space. The trail will pass by the pool and through rolling hills and then will veer to the right, crossing over Torrey Peaks Drive twice. Runners will reach Indiana street again and turn right for a downhill finish at the school.
