Strides Against Violence

Strides Against Violence was started in 2015 after the untimely loss of Loredana Nesci and has been held since then in her memory. Strides Against Violence is a race dedicated to raising funds for Chrysalis Domestic Violence Services to better service victims of domestic violence.

Chrysalis opened it's doors in 1977 and has been providing services to victims of domestic violence since. Services include, but aren't limited to, shelter, counseling, 24 hour hotline, relocation assistance, child advocacy and support groups. The inspiration comes from Loredana's kind and selfless nature, as friends of hers would say“Her patron saint was Wonder Woman ... She wanted to save the world.”, in her memory, we will.

Meriden-Wallingford Chrysalis is non-profit 501 (c)(3) and was established in 1977 with the mission to promote healthy relationships, safe families, and violence-free communities.
