Description
A five, six, seven, eight, GO! Join the Newington Children's Theatre Company for their first ever virtual 5k: Steps for the Stage, May 14-16, 2021. Strap on your running, walking, cycling or even dance shoes as you take to your favorite track, trail, treadmill or dance floor to complete this 5K challenge. Run, walk, cycle, dance (or any combination) your 3.1 miles and post your time. Participants receive a medal, dri fit NCTC race shirt, digital bib and a digital finisher's certificate. Local pick-up of shirts and medals will be the wk of 5/17 (time TBD). Shirts and medals not picked up will be mailed the following week.
Use the race as a motivation tool to stay active, compete against family and friends, or to support the Newington Children's Theatre Company. 100% of the net proceeds will be used to keep the curtain raised on CT's longest running children's theatre.
50 State Challenge! This virtual race allows anyone to participate, near or far. As a fun challenge, let’s see if we can get registrations from all 50 states! Recruit your family and friends to join you in supporting NCTC! Stay tuned to our Facebook page for updates!
