Logan's Lawn Olympics

Teams of 4 to 6 will compete in 7 different backyard games to earn points and try to win first place in their category. Categories include 12 and under, 13-19 and mixed adult/child or family.

This is not a drop-off event. Children should be supervised.

The Games include:

• Hoppity Dash - Each player will bounce on a hoppity ball for a specified distance against other teams to earn points.
• Bean Bag Toss - Toss bean bags into different objects to earn points.
• Sack Race - Hop in a sack for a specified distance against other teams to earn points.
• Water Balloon Toss - Each team divides into 3 pairs and competes against other teams tossing the water balloon back and forth moving farther apart after each toss. Final pair earns points.
• Seaweed Tag - A version of tag. Last people not tagged after 10 minutes earn points for their team.
• Clean Up Your Room - Two teams face off and toss items over a volleyball net, at the end of 4 minutes, the team with least amount of items on their side will earn points.
• Balloon Stomp - Each player starts with a balloon tied to their ankle, the goal is to stomp out your opponents' balloon. Last people with unpopped balloons at the end of 10 minutes earn points for their team.

Teams will have the chance to face off against many different teams throughout the day. The goal is to earn as many points as possible for your team!

About the Logan Murphy Mengold Foundation: The Logan Murphy Mengold Foundation was created to honor the memory and kind heart of Logan Mengold. Logan was as fierce a competitor as he was a friend. The foundation’s goal is to support local college-bound students and other organizations in the Southbury and surrounding communities that share Logan’s unyielding passions including, but not limited to: sports, music and theatre.
