PAL Leprechaun Chase 5k

The Stratford PAL is proud to host the inaugural Leprechaun Chase!  

All abilities are encouraged to run or walk in our family friendly 5k.  You will enjoy our easy 3.1 mile course - the exact same one as our famous Turkey Trot  held every November.

Awards, prizes, giveaways, snacks and fluids will be available for all registered entrants. Complimentary beer will be served after the run to all paid 21 and over adults. 

Help us kick off Stratford's newest event and raise money for our Police Activities League. All proceeds from this 5k will go right back into our community. PAL serves all Stratford Families and works to provide recreational programs, sports and summer camps to all of our residents at low to no cost! Every runner in this race will help us sponsor a youth in the community!

AWARDS  For the first overall male & female and for the top three in each age group 9 & under, 10-13, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+  

COSTUMES   Remember this is an extension of St. Patrick’s Day so don’t pack away your outfit after 3/17! We give you another terrific reason to dress the best way you can to add to the “greenery” in Stratford. PRIZES for the top outfits! 

EVENT SCHEDULE & REG FEES 

2/25    Registration opens online- ALL registration including on event date is entirely online. No paper/cash on race day accepted.

$30 for 21 & over        $25 for 20 & under ends 3/18

$35 on 3/19 & 3/20    $25 for 20 & Under remains the same  

3/13 CUTOFF FOR SHIRT SIZE GUARANTEE. After that ‘as available’ & we could run out. 

3/20  EVENT DAY 

7:45 am   Pickup starts at our race site in downtown Stratford. Details to follow. 

8:45 am  Free Kids run for all 8 yr old and younger. Parents can accompany kids if needed. 

8:55 am  Introductions & announcements & National Anthem

9:00 am   5K start

9:15 am   Snacks, fluids, free beer for 21 and over only. Please remember to bring an ID to enjoy our free beer!
