The Trumbull Sunset Run has an amazing history since its start in the 80’s.

The Trumbull Rotary is preparing to host one of the oldest runs in the area & invites you to join them. 

We appreciate the support and cooperation from the Trumbull Parks and Rec Department

and the Town of Trumbull to bring you this great, family event. 

ALL VETERANS & CURRENT MEMBERS OF THE US. MILITARY CAN RUN FOR FREE

ID required at bib pickup time!

That course has some rolling hills in the first half. The second half is a net downhill and completely flat the last half mile.

There is a water stop at 1.7miles.

OUR NEW SUNSET WALK COURSE WILL BE HERE SOON. Distance between 1-1.5 easy miles.

May 20 - ALL registration opens - 5k @ $35 for 19 & over. Just $30 for 18 & under does not increase!

               NEW UNTIMED WALK event - $30 for all ages, does not increase

July   1-  5K registration fees increase for 19 & over only ($37.00)

July19 -  guaranteed shirt sizing ends- only what's available after that (we may run out) 

July 27 - 5K registration fees increase  for 19 & over only ($40)

July 30 - TRUMBULL PUBLIC LIBRARY 5-7:30pm SHARP! early pickup bib, shirt, swag-

                get it done and avoid the next day's stress!

July 31 - It's event evening! 

5:00 pm pickup bib, shirt, swag on site at the park

6:15 pm Free kids run- directed by Donna Cramond! (Don't miss her warm up)

6:30 pm Start 5K run, walk   followed by snacks & awards

There is no paper/cash registration on race day for these events.

Computer bib-chip timing by Startline Race Services.  

Registrants will receive a T-shirt (size guaranteed when signed up by July 19).   

ANY SIGN UPS AFTER THAT WILL RECEIVE A SHIRT IF AVAILABLE. 

THIS EVENT IS A TRUE BENEFIT TO THE COMMUNITY 

The money we raise at this race is used to support local organizations and events like the annual dictionary project for our Trumbull 3rd graders, Trumbull Senior Citizens Fall Leaf Clean-Up, Scholarships for Trumbull High School Seniors, Trumbull Post Prom, Trumbull Mc2 Robotics, Trumbull Junior Achievement, Trumbull HS Mock Trial Team, Trumbull Arts Commission, a fall picnic for our Trumbull senior citizens as well as regional organizations like Homes For the Brave, The Center For Family Justice, Hall House, and the Thomas Merton House. In addition, we give out grants to many local and regional organizations.
