Paint It Pink for a Cure 5K

We are taking Paint it Pink nationwide this October for Breast Cancer awareness!

The in-person breast cancer awareness 5K's may have been canceled, but we are coming together for one big national event! 

That is right America!  We are challenging you to Paint the Pavement Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

How does it work?

Just register online and run or walk anywhere  or anytime during the month of October. 

What is the challenge?

Before you go for your run or walk, paint the soles of your shoes PINK! This way when you take your first steps you will leave behind pink foot prints. 

The goal of this is to have random pink foot prints around the country in support of breast cancer awareness. 

Why we want you to do this?

When someone who is suffering from breast cancer is walking along the street sees your pink foot prints in support of breast cancer awareness, this will serve as a symbol to them that they are not alone. It will let them know that there is an army of supporters in their corner. It will let them know, they are not alone in their fight. It will let them know that there is someone literally, walking or running in their shoes for them! 

This challenge is simple, there is not a finisher medal, and there is not a t-shirt. This is about making a difference and raising money for breast cancer research, in a time when all organizations that rely on in-person event funding are struggling to stay afloat, can find solace in knowing that there is still away for them to raise funds. 

So lace up your shoes, go to your local craft store and buy some water-based paint, slap a layer on your shoes and go for a run or walk. 

We are asking a $10.00 donation for you to enter this challenge. Take all the photos you want and upload them to the race website. Then challenge 10 of your friends to do the same. If you can get a team and  ten of your friends register, you will be credited your entry fee back.
