Description
The COVID-19 global pandemic was proof that technology can keep us connected and is critical in education and opportunity! For the fifth year, MDPCF is hosting a virtual 3k! This event is in honor of ovarian and uterine cancer awareness month, as well as a memorial walk/run. We honor the life and service of longtime MDPCF supporter, Dr. Estelle Whitney, and participants are encouraged to walk/run for anyone they would like to honor and remember.
Walk/Run anywhere and anytime between 5am-5pm EST on Saturday, September 7th! Choose your location and start time, run or walk alone, with your dog - the possibilities are infinite. It is your chance to get moving, connect with others across the country, and take steps to continue to raise awareness for ovarian and uterine cancers.
How it works:
Registration is $25.00 per person. When you register, encourage all your family and friends to sign up with you!
Download and print out your digital race bib included with your virtual registration and get ready to show your participation! After you are registered, find your name, and click on your bib number using this link.
Walk or run a 3k! Do it on a treadmill, around your neighborhood, in the park, wherever you are safe! Don't forget to print and wear your digital bib. Complete your race September 7th, between 5am-5pm EST. Take lots of pictures and track your results! There will be two prizes, awarded to the most engaging social media post (don't forget to use #MDPCF) and best race time!!
On race day, make sure you post your individual results on the RunSignUp participant page if you complete a 3K distance. Submit results here and view all results here!
