Event Description

Caloosa Crank Fest is back and it’s time to put your legs, lines, and lungs to the test!

Built around the fast, punchy, and deceptively technical terrain of Caloosahatchee Regional Park, Crank Fest is a multi-stage MTB time trial that blends XC speed with enduro-style strategy. You’ll race the clock one rider at a time, hammer through timed stages, catch your breath during untimed transitions, then line up and do it all over again.

Elite, Sport, and Class 1 eMTB racers will take on three timed stages, including the advanced terrain of Far East. Novice racers will tackle a two-stage course, skipping Far East while still getting a full dose of Crank Fest.

Not worried about the clock? Casual Crank is your chance to jump into the event, ride the staged course, challenge yourself, and soak up the Crank Fest atmosphere without official timing, results, or podium pressure.

This isn’t a mass-start sufferfest and it isn’t just another lap race. Pick your lines, manage your effort, send what you’re comfortable sending, and see how your combined stage times stack up when the dust settles.

Whether you’re chasing the podium, trying to beat your riding buddies, pushing yourself outside your comfort zone, or just coming out to be part of the action, Caloosa Crank Fest is your chance to experience CRP a little differently.

Format

  • Multi-stage MTB time trial / enduro-style format
  • Riders start one at a time with controlled spacing

GPS, Class 1 eMTB & Course Compliance Policy

Official race results are determined solely by the event’s timing system. GPS activity data is not used for official timing; however, race officials may review data from Garmin, Wahoo, Strava, or similar platforms to verify course compliance, Class 1 eMTB eligibility, or resolve a disputed result.

Podium Verification

  • Riders qualifying for a podium position must be able to provide a complete GPS activity covering all applicable race stages.
  • GPS activity submitted for podium verification must include data recorded with a wheel-speed sensor.
