Description
Our Green Run will be virtual this year! What does this mean? You can run/walk the 5K anywhere you want and you can do it at any time that works best for you within a 10 day range (2/19/2021 - 2/28/2021). We are also hosting a 1K Kids race. Please help us raise money to support the Jupiter Environmental Research and Field Studies Academy (JERFSA) at Jupiter High School. We hope you will join us virtually this year and next year we plan to have our race at beautiful Riverbend Park again.
Swag
Our race offers all our runners a t-shirt and a finisher's medal! You will have the option to pick up your medal at packet pick-up or have it sent to you for an extra charge ($8.50). Please be sure to register early! All runners will receive a T-shirt and Finisher medal. Registrations prior to 2/8/2021 will have to choice to pick up their T-shirt and Finisher medal at packet Pick up or have it mailed to them at an extra cost ($8.50). Registrations made as of 2/8/2021 will receive their T-shirt and medal by mail only and registration price will increase by $8.50. We are unable to guarantee delivery dates.

Packet pick up will held on 2/18/2021 at Jupiter High School between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

All donations will be used to support the students in the Jupiter Community High School Environmental Research & Field Studies Academy (JERFSA). The Academy provides 75+ field activities yearly that include cooperation with: the Loxahatchee River Environmental Control District, Environment Resource Management, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, MacArthur and Jonathan Dickinson State Park, Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation, Loxahatchee Preserve Nature Center, and U.S. Bureau of Land Management. JERFSA has an Environmental Outreach Program in which students go to elementary schools and present environmental issues utilizing a variety of children's literature materials and field trip opportunities.
Money raised from the 2021 Green Run 5k will help run the JERFSA Academy by:
• Supplementing research and field trips
• Providing scholarships for field trips
• Repair the JERFSA boat
• Buying binoculars
• Paying stipends for college professors to bring them to Jupiter high school
