Let's Move! Day Apopka 5K Walk/Run and Health Fair

Course:
Race starting point is from the Apopka Seventh-Day Adventist Church and using the South Orange Blossom Trail that runs directly behind the church going for a distance of 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) and looping back to the church grounds. 5K USATF Certified Course # FL12062EBM

Schedule of Events:
Registration - 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM
Guided warm up - 6:30 AM
5K start (walkers and strollers welcome) - 7:30 AM
Health Fair open to the public - 9:00 AM
FREE Kid's Fun Run - 9:30 AM

Kid's Fun Run:
FOR CHILDREN UP TO 12 Y/O: The children will use the inner track on church grounds. There will be three heats in 15 minute intervals beginning at 9:30 am. The "itty bitty" wave is for infants, toddlers, and children under the age of 6 accompanied by parents and strollers (if needed). The second wave is for ages 7-9 running ½ mile. The third wave is for ages 10-12 running one mile. All children races and activities are free of charge, but all children must be registered by official guardian.

Awards:
All pre-registered entrants will receive a Run/Walk Commemorative T-shirt.  There will be 10 age divisions: 9 and under, 10-12, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and older. A trophy will be awarded to the top male/female in each age group. Every registered child in the Kid's Fun Run will receive a medal.
