Description
A Cocoa Beach road race for runners and walkers through residential Cocoa Isles. Get your Thanksgiving off to a healthy start and create a great holiday tradition with family and friends! Free fun runs for the Little Gobblers.
NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION! YOU MUST PREREGISTER OR SIGN UP AT PACKET PICKUP AT COCOA BEACH RECREATION CENTER. In person and online registration closes Wednesday, November 26, at 6 PM.
Location & Schedule
Race starts and ends at the Bailiwick Mall, just north of Minutemen Causeway on Brevard Ave. in Cocoa Beach on Thanksgiving, November 27.
6:30 - 7:45 am Packet Pickup (NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION)
8:00 am 5k Run/Walk
9:30 am Little Gobbler Fun Run (Free)
Awards
All 5k finishers receive a finisher medal.
Awards in addition to medals to: 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall male and female, master male and female, grand master male and female, senior grand master male and female.
No age group or team awards.
Amenities
Unisex or Ladies’ short-sleeve shirt or tank top. Shirts are distributed at packet pickup on a first come/first served basis. Tank tops available for distribution starting in June but tank top quantities are limited.
Finisher medals for all 5k finishers.
Dozens of fabulous and festive door prizes.
Post race refreshments.
Turkey Team
You may register as a Turkey Team or individual. A Turkey Team must consist of 2 to 6 participants.
The Turkey Team must carry (no wheeled apparatus) a 12 lb. turkey over the course (supplied on race day). The turkey must stay with the team and THE TEAM MUST STAY TOGETHER THROUGHOUT THE 5K AND FINISH TOGETHER. Teams must pre-register by Sunday, November 23.
Teams for which the members do not stay together during the race based on finishing times will be eliminated and the participants scored as individuals only.

Tuesday, November 25 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm at Cocoa Beach Recreation Center, 321 Ramp Road, Cocoa Beach
Wednesday, November 26 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Cocoa Beach Recreation Center, 321 Ramp Road, Cocoa Beach
Race day at the Bailiwick Mall, 20 N. Brevard Avenue, from 6:30 to 7:45 am
NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION! PACKET PICKUP ONLY ON RACE DAY!
If you cannot attend one of the packet pickup opportunities prior to race day, consider paying an extra $7 at checkout to have your race shirt and number mailed to you in advance. This option is available until November 20.
Race Day Parking
Parking available 2 blocks west of the start at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection on Minutemen Causeway, 2 blocks southeast of the start at Cocoa Beach Community Church, on numbered streets north and south of Minutemen, and area lots. No parking on Brevard Avenue between Minutemen and 2nd Street North.
Cocoa Beach Parking Garage is open for a fee, as well as beach end parking lots (fee also without parking permit).
Community Outreach
Share the spirit of Thanksgiving and bring a non-perishable food item or toiletry to packet pickup or race day to help the needy in our community. Donations will be delivered to the food pantry at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection on Minutemen Causeway.
Trick & Trot Challenge
Frightful Fairway 5k and Cocoa Beach Turkey Trot 5k in Cocoa Beach.
Participants who register for both races in the Trick & Trot Challenge will be awarded a series medal at the Cocoa Beach Turkey Trot 5k. Participants may also pick up their series medal at the Cocoa Beach Recreation Center after the races.
