Apex Predator Challenge

Dive into the fight against invasive species with the Apex Predator Challenge, a one-of-a-kind lionfish tournament that puts scuba divers at the forefront of protecting our marine ecosystems!

Participants will board one of two dive boats and head out to designated dive sites to hunt for the invasive lionfish, a species that threatens the balance of our waters. Equipped with skill, determination, and a passion for conservation, divers will compete in teams of two to remove as many lionfish as possible, with exciting cash prizes awarded to the top-performing teams.

Every participant will receive a commemorative Apex Predator Challenge Coin, a symbol of their commitment to the cause, and a versatile beach towel that doubles as a seat cover—perfect for keeping your car seats clean after a day of diving.

Prize Structure:

1. Most Lionfish Caught: $300 cash prize
2. Largest Lionfish: $200 cash prize
3. Smallest Lionfish: $100 cash prize
4. We will also have lots of gear that will be part of the prize packages as well. 

Important Details:

• Registration includes entry on dive boat for a two-tank dive.
• All participants are responsible for their own dive equipment, rentals are available through the dive shops
• If you need to rent equipment, please contact the dive shop directly to make arrangements.
