The world famous Giro d’Italia professional cycling race has created a new event for amateur cyclists and cycling enthusiasts called the Giro d’Italia Ride Like A Pro.  The event has been held in 6 countries this year, creating the hottest trend in cycling.  Back by popular demand, Giro d’Italia Ride Like A Pro has announced the 2026 United States event to be held in beautiful Doral, Florida (Miami Dade) the weekend of February 7-8. 

This event provides a fun-filled Italian atmosphere for recreational and competitive cyclists of all levels. Race Central is at City Place, located in Doral Florida and America’s Magic City, Miami, Florida.

Register your kids for the non-competitive 4 MILE KIDS QUATTRO Ride on Saturday.  The 4 Mile Kids Quattro event is a four mile closed course and was created for families with younger children that want to participate.  ALL registrants on Saturday receive an event shirt, a custom finishers medal, a commemorative bib, and free entry to Tour of Italy Village Expo.

Register for the competitive Gran Fondo Race!  Offering the 85-mile open course race with 4 timed sections, or the 56-mile Medio course with 3 timed sections, or the 35-mile Piccolo course with 2 timed sections.  ALL registrants on Sunday receive a custom event jersey, a commemorative medallion, a race bib, free entry to Tour of Italy Village Expo, a ticket to the Great Pasta Dinner on Saturday evening, lunch provided at the Food Truck "Piazza" and a chance to stand on the podium at the Premio Stage and accept your award for placing TOP 3 in your age group! 2026 Giro Ride Like A Pro-USA Charity Partner - Waves of Gray Brain Cancer / Tumor Awareness

OUR MISSION:
The Waves of Gray – Brain Cancer/Tumor Awareness was created in memory of Fred K. Fenton II. Fred lost his battle with brain cancer (glioblastoma) in November 2016. When he was sick, we felt extremely helpless, as caregivers often do. 
Our goal is to bring together the Jacksonville brain tumor community, bring awareness for this horrible disease & raise funds for brain cancer/tumor research.  Fred lost his battle, but our fight continues… Supporting: Baptist/MD Anderson Cancer Center
Waves of Gray continues to support Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center. Funds raised will benefit the Waves of Gray Neuro-Oncology Endowment supporting research programs through Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida.
