Tara's Jingle Jog 5K

On September 6, 2012, we lost Passion Foundation founder Tara Parla to her courageous battle with Stage 4 Melanoma. The mother of two young children created and ran this foundation with her husband Jon and family. All proceeds to benefit The Passion Foundation, a local non-profit, whose mission is to keep our children shaded and safe from the sun's harmful rays while at school. This is a officially timed cross-country race. This is an event for the whole family! Radio remotes, food, bounce houses, and even a special visit from Santa himself. The 5K is a TRUE cross-country course, including grass and a hill. TARA'S JINGLE JOG is adding a new twist this year! We will have a Challenge Run with obstacles all around the course. Official race times will be posted. Runners 12 and under are free. Prizes awarded for top finishers. Come dressed as your favorite holiday character (Santa, Rudolph, elves) or in festive holiday colors. The Passion Foundation has covered 5 playgrounds and is working on the 6th location now.
