Your participation in the inaugural Hodges University and Goodwill SWFL HawkWalk Virtual 5K Walk/Run is an opportunity to support two amazing Southwest Florida organizations with one donation!

Goodwill Southwest Florida is focused on filling the gap in community services by enabling individuals to gain a hand up and overcome barriers to employment and independence. With their four main focuses on disability services, housing, small business development, and digital literacy training, they provide assistance to those who need it most.

Hodges University, a regionally accredited, private nonprofit institution and the first Hispanic serving institute in Southwest Florida (46% of our students identify as Hispanic or Latino), has a mission to prepare students to leverage higher learning in their personal, professional, and civic endeavors. With an emphasis on workforce development certifications and English as a Second language courses, we are taking the initiative and our expertise directly into the Goodwill Industries SWFL Community Resource Centers, improving access to those students who need it most.

Hodges University and Goodwill SWFL are working together to support and improve the educational opportunities for underserved individuals on their journey to acquire the skills needed to help them take their careers to the next level.
