Gainesville Brewery Run 5K

**Update: Listen up! Due to our issue of capacity and to ensure all registered participants have the best time possible....we are now FULL for both the 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run. We will not be taking any walk-up race registrations at all. If you purchased a GroupOn/LvingSoc deal you should have either registered or emailed us by now. We know many more people wanted to register on race day and our event had the potential to be over 500 people easily, but we will see you in the spring for the next event. We hope everyone understands that safety and early registered participants' had to be put first. This announcement was posted yesterday in an effort to let the public know ahead of time that race was full and so we didn't have angry people on race day who could not register on race day.**                                                          -Race Staff + First Magnitude Brewing Management

Forget just a beer run, come on out for a brewery run! That's right, this event will be held at and hosted by First Magnitude Brewery right off South Main Street and SE Veitch Street in the heart of downtown Gainesville. Our course will be a 3.1 mile out and back layout with aid stations at the halfway mark and start/finish line. If your not feeling like tackling a fun 5k, then run with the "brew crew" runners and do a 1 mile fun run. Due to the plethora of quality races in town for fall, we decided to push it back some and give runners a great race to enjoy North Florida fall weather at its finest. Event will benefit the Springs Eternal Project! 

Highlights:

Professionally Chip Timed 5K By Start 2 Finish Race Management, Alachua, FL

Brew Crew 1 Mile Fun Run / Kids Mile immediately following 5K (12:05 pm)

Out and back 5k and 1Mile Scenic and beautiful course route along Gainesville-Hawthorne trail

All participants over 21 will receive two craft beers (FMB, Bold City, & Three Daughters)

High quality Gainesville Brewery Run 5K/1 Mile T-shirts 

Top 25 Male and Top 25 Female will receive commemorative Das Boot to fill with more beer!

Hangout in the outdoor beer garden and play games at FMB

Complimentary fruit, snacks, Gatorade, water and refreshments at finish line

All registrants get FREE raffle tickets and chances to win awesome prizes from sponsors
