Description
Join us on Saturday, January 25th 2025 for the Annual Wolfson Children's Challenge. This years event will take place at the Winston YMCA. We’ve made some exciting changes to the course to make it more inclusive - only featuring a 5k and a 1-mile.
Mission Moment: A special moment to connect with our mission, as the new route will pass the hospital's front entrance (we hope patients and team members will watch from the windows!).
Team Element Refined: Teams will run together, rather than in separate legs. Each individual's time is considered when calculating the team's overall time to foster more unity, and let's face it, it's more fun to run side-by-side with your friends.
Scenic Route: The 5k will go over the Acosta Bridge, along the St. Johns River, to add both enjoyment and a new "challenge."

8:00 am - 5K
9:15 am - 1Mile Fun Run
Runners can register the day of the race for both the 5K and the 1-mile fun run at the registration tent. Register early and avoid the same day price increase. All race day registrations will be done through runsignup.com.
Wolfson 55 Celebration
We are excited to celebrate and honor our Wolfson 55 children and families at this year’s event!
On Site Food
The Dunkin’ Donuts Cruiser & Smoothie King Food Truck will be onsite.
Lost & Found
Lost and Found is located at the registration tent. Items will be held for 30 days post- race and then donated to a local charity. To locate your lost items after the event, please email to: foundation@bmcjax.com.

5M Awards: Over all awards based off Gun Time / Age Group awards based off Chip Times.
OVERALL AWARDS
Overall Awards will be presented as follows:
Men - 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place
Women - 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place
AGE GROUP AWARDS
The following age groups will also be awarded:
0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 Plus
Top 3 teams will also be awarded. A team time will be calculated using the top 5 fastest runners on the team. At least 2 times must come from female team members. There is no limit to the number of runners that can be on a team, but only the top times will be used in the calculation.
The largest team will also be recognized on race day.
