Description
Kissimmee Main Street is proud to celebrate Valentine's Day with our Annual Kissimmee 5K. This event will promote heart health with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the American Heart Association.
Participants will enjoy a serene lakeshore run as the early morning fog rolls over Lake Tohopekaliga. They will take in some of Kissimmee's beautiful historic homes and find great shopping and dining venues as they run through the historic downtown. Participants are certain to experience the best views of our charming and historic Downtown.
This event is for runners and walkers of all abilities. Strollers are welcome. Pets welcomed.
This race encourages you to dress in Valentine attire and includes three costume contests. The “Cutest Cupid” will be awarded the individual who most embodies the Valentine Icon, “Cupid”, the “Prettiest Pair” will be awarded the most unique running pair (2), and the Care Club award will be given to the largest group (church/organization/business) represented. Please join us in celebrating more than 14 years of fun, health, and giving.

Entry Fee
$20 through December 30; $23 January 1 through January 31; $25 February 1 - February 9; $30 on Race Day.
Student Rate - $15 for students participating in the Kissimmee 5K. Students are defined as children under the age of 18. Call the Kissimmee Main Street office at 407-846-4643 for details on a discounted student rate.
Packet Pick Up
Packet Pick Up available at Kissimmee Main Street office (421 Broadway) on Thursday, February 9th from 10am-4pm and Friday, February 10th from 10am-5pm; and on Race Day at Kissimmee Lakefront Park from 6:15 am - 7:15 am.
T-Shirts
The first 300 participants will receive an event t-shirt at packet pickup. Shirt sizes not guaranteed.
Awards & Age Divisions
Awards are given to the following categories:
- Top Three Overall Male & Female
- Top Masters Male & Female
- Top Three Male & Female Finishers in the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
- Couples Race - 2 person Team with fastest time combined
- Care Club - team with the largest number of runners
Please note: Participants can win an award in only one category and will receive the award with the highest value.
Bib Tag Scoring
We will be utilizing the ChronoTrack bib tag, which will be located on the back of your race bib. Do not remove, fold or alter the bib tag in any way.
Restrictions
For safety reasons, bicycles, roller skates and in-line skates will be prohibited from the race course. The use of headphones is discouraged. Roadways will reopen at 9 am and anyone still on the course at this time will be instructed to move onto the sidewalk.
Couples Race
This year, we will continue the "Couples Race." In addition to your individual time, you can choose to register as a part of a 2 person couples team. Your times will be added and we will be giving awards to the top couples teams. So find your Valentine and sign up today! Winners of the Couples Race are eligible for individual awards.
Beneficiary
Proceeds from the event will go to the American Heart Association and Kissimmee Main Street
