The first one is under our belts. No we rest.
Words could never convey the hole in hearts and the pain of losing our youngest son. We would have been celebrating Kalen turning the big 18 on Thursday, April 27th. Instead of being so horribly depressed on his birthday, we decided to do something fun and LIFE GIVING! Our prayer is to salute our angel by donating 18 pairs of shoes to 18 different schools and childcare centers in Lakeland, in honor of this shoes and socks loving GENTLE GIANT! *******PLEASE HELP US REACH THIS GOAL to bless so many students in need******
Please GET YOUR TEAMS TOGETHER for this 18K and register today! A small fee is needed for registration and marketing.
Instead of a hefty entry fee for this SUPER COOL event, each participant is asked to donate 2 pairs of new sneakers and 2 pairs of socks. Then, after the run, please join us for the party at George Jenkins High School!

Our first race was fun and the day was beautiful!
THANK YOU so very much for all who participated! We are excited that our inaugural race is done. We are going to take a short hiatus then begin preparing for our 2nd annual event, naming it Kilometers for Kalen! We look forward to seeing and speaking with you all soon!
