Description
This is a virtual 5K race that is being hosted by the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS-Cubs) at Lehigh Elementary School in Lehigh Acres, Florida. We are hosting this virtual 5K race to help support a local animal rescue that focuses primarily on senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. The organization is Senior Paws Sanctuary,Inc and is located in Lehigh Acres, Florida.
This is the perfect opportunity to get out and explore your neighborhood or local parks that are open in your area. Take the kids and the family pet(s) and enjoy the great outdoors while spending time together. This virtual race is a run/walk and you can complete it in small chunks or all at once. When you complete it, head over to the Facebook Event page to share your success!
You can donate through the website or you can mail a check to the school. If you are choosing to mail a check, please make it out to Lehigh Elementary School. At the end of the event, we will present a check to the Senior Paws Sanctuary. A donation of $15 or more will get you a commemorative medal to show off to all your friends and family. You can choose to donate and not participate in the 5K.
