Description

The 38th annual FREEDOM SPRINGS TRIATHLON will be held at the beautiful Blue Springs Recreation Park, 5461 Blue Springs Road in Marianna, Florida on July 4th, 2024.

The race is now sold out and registration is closed. No race day registration. The event is sold out. We hope to see you next year.

This is a sprint triathlon: 400 meter swim, 10 mile bike, and 5K run.
This race is great for first-time triathletes, beginners and 'all-kinds-of-bikes" riders.

SWIM (0.25 mile/ 400 meters) takes place in spring water (68F, wetsuits are allowed).

BIKE (10 miles) is a fast, fun, out and back ride.

RUN (5K = 3.1mile) starts on a road and leads onto a fun, clay road.

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the multisport disciplines of triathlon, duathlon, aquathlon and winter triathlon in the United States. With a USA Triathlon membership, athletes join a community that works together to grow, inspire and support each other and the multisport community at large. All of USA Triathlon’s membership fees are returned to the local racing community in the form of support, insurance coverage and more.

One-Day License If you are not an annual member, you must purchase a one-day license to participate in a USA Triathlon sanctioned event. A one-day license also provides the athlete participant accident medical coverage while they are participating in a USA Triathlon Sanctioned Event. Cost: $15 per event.

One-Day Licenses are purchased for a specific race, are transferable, are non-refundable, and are NOT sold directly through USA Triathlon (as they are race specific).
