Description
The Gateway to Space is a 5K/10K is held on the Space Florida Launch and Landing Facility (formerly known as the Shuttle Landing Facility) and benefits the American Cancer Society. The American Cancer Society, is on a mission to free the world from cancer. Until then, they fund and conduct research, share expert information, support patients, and spread the word about prevention. All so you can live longer — and better. For the first time in history, the American Cancer Society's mission is at risk. Fundraising is not required but is highly encouraged

Registration Requirements
You must be a US citizen, no green card holders, you will be entering a US military base and restrictions apply. Participants MUST be over the age of 12. By registering for this race, you are giving your consent to a federal background check. ONLY registered participants will be allowed to board the buses out to the LLF, NO spectators. Please arrive with your ID and running attire, any bags or personal belongings may be subject to search. If the race does not sell out, registration will close five days prior to the race, NO late registrations allowed.

5:45am - Check In Opens
6:00am - First bus will leave for the Launch & Landing Facility - masks optional but encouraged in enclosed spaces.
7:00am - Check In closes, buses will loop until all participants have been transported
8:00am - Race begins
9:30am - Buses will begin to return to KSC Visitor Complex/Parking

Directions
Participants will report to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex on April 2nd.
Parking is free for participants. Check-In is from 5:45 AM to 7:00 AM.
All participants MUST be checked in and through security by 7:00 AM, late entry will NOT be permitted
Entry into the Park after the race is not included with Race Registration, but tickets are available from https://www.kennedyspacecenter.com/
