Description
Join the Florida Track Club for this club event. It is free for Florida Track Club Members and $20 for non-members. The race will start in downtown Micanopy (near the City of Micanopy Ballpark) and will mostly be on tree-lined lime rock dirt roads. We will have professional timing and age group awards in 10-year categories.
If you want to join the Florida Track Club and participate in the numerous races and track meets we have planned this year, go to Floridatrackclub.org. Individual yearly membership is only $40, family membership is $65, student membership is $25, senior membership is $25 (65+). (Hmmm, makes sense to join!!) Hydration:
On-course hydration will be available at 2.5 miles in the 5 Mile Race. And at 2.5 and 7.5 in the 10 mile Race.
5 Mile Course
The 5-mile race course will be a relatively flat out-and-back on scenic dirt roads.
10 Mile Course
The 10-mile will start with the 5-mile runners but add on a 5-mile loop around the well-known hilly loop South of town, before returning to the start.
