SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Pre-Race packet pick up/registration: Friday, October 20 from 8:00 AM - 4:00 AM in the Ravine Gardens State Park Administration Office (located upstairs in the Roy B. Campbell Civic Center) at: 1600 Twigg St. Palatka, FL 32177.

Race Day Registration: Saturday, October 21, 7:00 AM in the Civic Center at Ravine Gardens State Park.

5K race starts at 8:00 AM, Kids Fun Run 1 hour after race starts with awards to follow in the Civic Center.

ENTRY FEES
Youth Entry Fee (under 18) up to 10/01/17: $10
Adult Entry Fee up to 10/01/17: $20

Youth Entry Fee (under 18) up to 10/20/17: $15
Adult Entry Fee up to 10/20/17: $25

Youth Entry Fee (under 18) Day of Race: $20
Adult Entry Fee Day of Race: $30

Kids Fun Run: Free Without T-Shirts (Must Register)

In the event of inclement weather the race may be postponed or cancelled with no refunds.

Availability and size of t-shirts only guaranteed to those who register before October 6, 2017.

Spectators can also support their racers by purchasing the official race tshirt with a $10 donation per shirt!

AWARDS
Top male and female overall finishers. Also, the top male and female in the following age groups will receive awards: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

COURSE
The run/walk will be held on the park's historic scenic drive, a tree canopied loop following the rim of 120 foot ravines, dipping to the bottom and climbing back up for a truly challenging event. Portions of the race may loop outside of the park.

5K USATF Certified Course # Pending - 5K Course Map

The purpose of the USATF course certification program is to produce road race courses of accurately measured distances. For any road running performance to be accepted as a record or be nationally ranked, it must be run on a USATF-certified course. In addition, the certification program is very important to the average road racer, as well as those of exceptional speed. Most runners like to compare performances run on different courses, and such comparisons are difficult if course distances are not reliable. No one can truly establish a personal best if the course distance is not accurate.

RACE TIMING AND SCORING
The race will be professionally timed and scored by RaceSmith, Inc. The race will be timed using disposable, electronic tags attached to the bib number. Please wear your bib number to the front, pinned at all four corners, visible, and unaltered. Printed results will be posted at the race site and live online during the race at www.RaceSmith.com
