Virtual 5K Fun Run/Walk 4 VETERANS

Come join us on honoring Veterans by participating in this Virtual 5K Fun Run or Walk 4 Veterans.    This event will allow you to run or walk anytime or anywhere you want at your leisure.   Registration is $30 for adults; for kids up to 17 is only $16.00.  At the same time you can honor a Veteran  by placing their name on your race bib at the bottom to let them know you did it for them and their service!  You get a couple items for this race but we are excited that there is a custom dog tag:  if you want you can give it to the Veteran that you ran or walked for.  You will receive with your registration: 1) 100% Polyester T-Shirt 2) Military sticker 3) 5K Run 4 Vet magnetic 4) custom 22 Dog Tag with chain 5) Race bib with safety pins

On 18 July 2020, at 06:20am, Diversity2Go, we will go live (@Diversity2Go Facebook) to launch this Virtual race (a few others will come; we will practice social distancing).  We will be running and/or walking for the Veterans that we picked to run or walk for. At the end we will come back live and show you what all you get with your registration and we will announce who we ran or walked for. Keep in mind if you are a  Veteran you can Run or Walk for yourself.  Just remember to post your picture and who you Ran or Walked for Instagram: Diversity2Go or @Diversity2Go Facebook. (this event starts on 18 July 2020 and ends on 20 November 2021)

Every approximately 3 months we will come live on Facebook (21 Nov 2020, 22 May 2021, 21 Aug 2021) and run or walk for other Veterans.  You are more than welcome to join us live and do your run or walk then too, pop on our Facebook and let us know your joining us.  Keep in mind if you post on our Facebook or Instagram you will be racking up reward points (we will announce later on what these points are for).  Once we return we will be doing drawings; if you are registered for this race your automatically entered.  You are more than welcome to do your event then too. Each entry gives you an opportunity to give a donation towards Mission 22.

Our goal at Diversity2Go; is to help raise overall at minimum $5,000 to give to Mission22.  Mission22 organization are dedicated to Veterans' with Post-Traumatic Stress and other concerns with Veterans. To find out more about their important mission please go to their website at mission22.com.  The reason I picked this organization is because I feel their mission is very critical and it hits closer to home due to I struggle with PTSD myself.  If you want to read my story check it out on  Instagram Diversity2Go or @Diversity2Go on Facebook, I recently posted about my struggles.  We all have a part to do but no one can do it alone!
