The Rotary Club of Flagler Beach is proud to present our 10th Anniversary Race of the Runways at the Flagler Executive Airport.   This is a unique evening 5K where participants run or walk along illuminated airport runways under the searchlight of a circling helicopter.  Join us Saturday evening, February 20, 2021 at 6:00 PM.  

Participants are encouraged to add to the fun by wearing glow-in-the-dark clothing and accessories.  Light-up costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.  Please, no glow sticks.

Don’t miss our exciting 10th Anniversary After-Party in the Hangar.  Featuring awards, music, food and fun after the run.  Non-participant After-Party tickets available for $5.00.

Tee Shirts
Only pre-registered runners who successfully complete the registration and payment process by Wednesday, February 10th will be guaranteed a free race T-shirt.  There may be T-Shirts available on race day, but availability and sizes are not guaranteed.  

Age groups include, 9 and under 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90 and up.

Best Male and Female “Light Up The Runway” costume awards will be given to the flashiest and most creative.  For the safety of the runners, NO GLOW STICKS PERMITTED.

Free parking available at the airport.  

Timing and Scoring
Whether walking or running, participants will be timed and scored with a disposable chip attached to their numbered Bib.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
COVID19 – Should the Race of the Runways date have to change by order of the Flagler County Health Department, all registration monies will be applied to the newly scheduled Date.  No refunds or participant transfers.  Race will be held rain or shine.
