Description

Think Pink Run Red is a Walk/Run to promote Breast Cancer Awareness.

This event will take place at the Pompano Beach Air Park, located behind the Pompano Beach Fire Station. On-site registration and packet pickup will begin at 6:15 a.m., and the race will start at sunrise (approximately 7:15 a.m.).

Come out and enjoy a wonderful morning as we honor and remember loved ones impacted by breast cancer. We’ll begin with a guided warm-up stretch led by Kamko Dance Life, a husband-and-wife duo, before kicking off the walk/run. After crossing the finish line, celebrate with music from DJ Big Man Kelly and join Kamko Dance Life for some fun and energetic line dancing.

The event will conclude with an awards presentation recognizing our top participants. Trophies will be awarded to the overall male and female winners. In addition, medals will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each age category. We look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of all our participants.

We look forward to seeing everyone for a meaningful morning of community, remembrance, and celebration. Together, we will honor the many brave individuals who have fought and continue to fight breast cancer each day, while remembering those whose courage and strength continue to inspire us. We hope you’ll join us as we come together to support one another and celebrate their enduring spirit.

Proceeds from this event will benefit The Women’s Breast & Heart Initiative, an organization dedicated to providing vital education, support, resources, and services to women and their families. By keeping these funds local, we help ensure that members of our community can directly benefit from the programs and assistance they provide. Your participation makes a meaningful difference in supporting those affected by breast cancer and promoting healthier lives throughout our community.
