The Esther Funds Foundation 2K Walk: Walk So They Stay ( The EFF 2K)

You don’t have to run to make a difference. Just walk.

Join us for the Esther Funds Foundation 2K Walk — a virtual, purpose-driven event dedicated to helping college students stay in school by covering unpaid balances and providing emergency support.

On Saturday, October 4th 2025, at 9:00 AM EST, participants across the country will walk 2 kilometers (1.24 miles) from wherever they are — in their neighborhood, on campus, or even indoors — to raise awareness and funding for students on the verge of dropping out.

This walk is about more than distance. It’s about dedication to making sure every student finishes what they started.

Proceeds will directly support:

Paying down tuition balances that prevent enrollment or graduation
Emergency financial aid for housing, transportation, and food
Scholarships and student retention programs led by Esther Funds Foundation
Every step you take helps a student stay enrolled.
Every dollar you give helps a student keep going.

What to Do on Race Day⇓

Check In (Optional but Encouraged)
Join us for a special Instagram Live kickoff at 8:45 AM EST for a moment of prayer, encouragement, and purpose before you begin your walk.

Put on Your Race Bib + Gear

After registering, you should have received a digital race bib in your confirmation email.
 
Print it and pin it to your shirt — or take a selfie holding it!
 
If you ordered merch or received a wristband, wear it to show your support.
 
Wear purple if you want to walk in EFF colors!
 

Walk 2K (1.24 Miles) From Anywhere

Start at 9:00 AM EST or anytime that day.
 
Walk in your neighborhood, on campus, at the gym, or wherever is safe for you.
 
 Walk solo or as part of a team you created or joined on RunSignUp. 
 

Upload Your Results by 12:00 PM EST

Log into your RunSignUp portal and submit your time, photo, or walk proof before noon.
 
This confirms your participation and makes you eligible for recognition and features.
 
A link to upload was also sent in your confirmation email.
