Sunrise 5K & Walk
Start your day at the Run for the Beaches 5K & Fun Run/Walk as the morning light reveals the wide, hard-packed shoreline of Treasure Island's beaches at low tide—Perfect for Running, Walking or Strolling.
- Choose the chip-timed, out-and-back 5K or enjoy a relaxed 1-mile Fun Run/Walk. Kids can join the 100-meter Turtle Dash for a quick burst of fun!
- Performance race shirt, finisher medal and fun swag for runners and walkers registrants
- After you cross the finish line, the celebration begins! Enjoy live music, complimentary beer, seltzer, or mimosas, the awards ceremony and the Taste of Treasure Island, featuring local food favorites. All included in your registration fee!
- Families can explore fun, hands-on activities for kids hosted by our nonprofit partners
This event supports the protection of our coastal environment and the preservation of marine life, wildlife, and seabirds—so every step makes an impact.

COMPLIMENTARY RACE DAY PARKING
The City of Treasure Island and Florida Parking are generously providing complimentary parking for all Run for the Beaches participants and spectators!
- Parking fees will be waived from 6:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Volunteers will distribute parking passes starting at 6:15 AM.
- You must display a parking pass on your dashboard — vehicles without a pass are subject to ticketing.

Race Day Schedule
RACE START TIME
6:30 AM: Parking lots open with volunteers distributing parking passes
6:30 AM: Packet Pick-up & onsite Registration begins
7:45 AM: Warm-up stretches at the start line
7:55: National Anthem
8:00 AM: 5K start countdown (Attention 5K walkers: Chip timing will stop promptly at 9:20 AM)
8:05 AM: The Fun Run/Walk (1 Mile) will start after all chip-timed 5K runners and walkers have cleared the start line. Please wait for them to pass before beginning.
8:45 AM: 100 Meter Turtle Dash. Later start lets 5K & Fun Run/Walk participants cheer on their child.
POST-RACE FESTIVITIES
8:30 AM: NoFilter hits the stage — let the fun begin!
9:30 AM: Taste of TI opens for race participants.
10:00 AM: Awards ceremony for winners in each category.
10:15 AM: Raffle winners
10:30 AM-11:30 AM: Kids Activities - Fun give aways; Sea oat planting with Roots & Shoots. Games with Keep Pinellas Beautiful.
CLOSING ACTIVITIES
12:30 PM: Time to say goodbye! We are thankful to our sponsors and to all participates supporting the Run for the Beaches cause.
