ATF Story

The inception of the Austin Tyler Foundation Inc. (ATF) was inspired by the tragic story of Ladonna Wilkerson, a domestic violence survivor. On September 21, 2004, 31-year old Ladonna and her 4-year-old son, Austin Tyler, were shot by her estranged boyfriend, an on-duty police officer.  Ladonna survived, but unfortunately Austin did not.  Ladonna is one of the real faces of domestic violence and founded the Austin Tyler Foundation to help other survivors.
