The Fast and the Furriest 5K

Description

The Fast and the Furriest 5K, benefitting Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, will be held at Webb Bridge Park in Alpharetta, GA. The Fast and the Furriest 5K is proudly sponsored by Fry|Goehring, CityVet-Woodstock, Paw Patch Animal Clinic and Atlantic Residential

All pre- and post-race activities will take place in the blocked off parking lot by the baseball fields.

The Fast and the Furriest is for runners, walkers, and their dogs! We are excited to offer a 5K race AND a 5K walk for athletes, beginners and kids alike, while raising money to save lives!

This paved course will have an aid & water station along the route(which you will pass 3 times!) for participants and their dogs (children and strollers are welcome).

Included for each competitor is a custom race t-shirt and post-race snacks. The Fast and the Furriest is perfect for runners and walkers who want to make a difference in the lives of homeless dogs and cats in Georgia. Come celebrate with us at this dog-centric race!

Registration fee is $35 after October 1st.

We will allow race-day registration starting at 7:30AM for a cost of $40 via QR code. Credit card or debit card only. No cash or checks will be accepted. (we cannot guarantee a shirt in your size will be available, please check with us after you finish the race) 5k Race start time is 9am sharp.

The Fast and the Furriest will happen rain or shine. In the event of severe weather making it unsafe for participants, the event will be canceled. Once you are registered, there are no refunds, transfers, or deferments if cancelled due to weather.
