Event Description

The Jack O'Lantern Jog is returning to Sandy Creek Nature Center this year. Come and enjoy a great race along the Oconee River Greenway that benefits Sandy Creek Nature Center.

Race Day Schedule

1:00PM Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup

2:00PM Goblin 1-Mile Fun Run / Walk

2:30PM Jack O'Lantern Jog 5K Run / Walk

3:30PM Awards

Course

The course is an out and back running along the Oconee Greenway at Sandy Creek Nature Center.

The course is USATF certified (GA19034DJ) and can be used as a Peachtree Qualifier.

Awards

Unique, themed awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female and the following Male / Female Age Groups:

5-year age groups: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and Over

Children in the fun run are promised a goody bag and a finishers medal.

Family of 4 Pricing

A family of 4 may register for $80.00 including a t-shirt for each member. All 4 family members must register during the same transaction. Register by October 16, 2026 to receive this Family of 4 Pricing. This pricing is not available after that date nor on race day.

T-Shirts

T-Shirts are available through October 16, 2026. After that date, shirts may be available on race day while supplies last.

Race Series and Finishline Management

The Jack O'Lantern Jog 5K is proud to be a member of the Black Bag Race Series and the Clover Glove Race Series.

Finish line management and timing provided by Classic Race Services.

What if it Rains?

We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
