Description
You’ve heard about a beer mile. You’ve always told your friends how great you’d be at it. Here’s your chance to prove and live with no regrets (except maybe having done the beer mile!). Join Southern Brewing Company and Fleet Feet Athens for this super fun event testing your mettle with 4 beers and a mile of running at the same time.
Registration Information
$35.00 if registered by 07/19/23. Entry includes race logo’d swag, beer & race timing with splits. Race day packet pickup opens at 5:30 pm. REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO 40 PARTICIPANTS PER CATEGORY SO THIS MAY FILL UP FAST. On-line registration will close Wednesday at midnight. Last minute registration is available at Fleet Feet on Thursday, July 20 during regular store hours. After that all registration is closed. NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!

Course
4 lap course with a drinking station after each lap. Beer, run, beer, run, beer, run, beer, run.
Penalty lap for any vomit before the finish line.
Beer
Beer will be supplied by Southern Brewing Company. Beer will be 5% ABV and served in cups. Beer is included in your registration fee.
Race Categories
Competitive & recreational waves. Competitive wave will begin at 6:30 pm and have a 30 minute time cap with overall male & female awards. Recreational wave will
have a 1 hour time cap and a “Spirit” award(s).
Finishline Management
Classic Race Services is pround to provide the timing and finishline management for this event.
What if it Rains?
Race will be postponed up to 1 hour in event of dangerous weather. After that, we will reschedule to the next immediately available date & announce ASAP.
