Description
Atlanta Victim Assistance, Inc. invites you to lace up your sneakers and join us for our second annual 5K Run & Walk in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month—an exciting event that brings the community together to honor survivors, raise awareness, and promote healing. Whether you walk, run, or cheer from the sidelines, your presence is a show of solidarity for survivors of abuse!
Don't miss the resource fair held during the event to offer valuable information on services and support available for victims and their loved ones. This event is in partnership with the Atlanta Police Department - Domestic Violence Unit.
RACE DAY SCHEDULE:
- 8:00 AM - Check-in begins
- 9:00 AM - 5K race start
- 10:15 AM - Kid's Mini Dash
- 10:30 AM - Closing ceremony and winner's awards
8:00 AM - 12 PM - Domestic Violence Resource Fair
ROUTE INFORMATION:
- Doubled loop inside of Grant Park
- Complete the route twice to finish the full course

PARKING:
- Street parking - limited spaces available near the intersection of Park Ave and Berne
St - Lot 2 - Located at 759 Boulevard SE, Atlanta, GA 30308. This is a paid lot with a cost
of $3/hour or $12/day. 1000 spaces available. - Lot 3 (Zoo Atlanta) - Located at 800 Cherokee Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30315.
This is a paid lot through ParkMobile, anticipated cost $3.50 per hour. Less than 100
spaces available.
