Description

This is a virtual event that can take place anywhere in America even in the comfort of your own home.  A virtual walk is a real walk, but is on your terms:  You get to choose your own course, what time you start, and who walks next to you!  Each race participant makes a commitment to walk or run and pledge to donate $3 a mile.  Registrants opt to walk or run a 3K (1.82 miles), 5K (3.1 miles) or 10K (6.2 miles).  The minimum donation starts at $6, rounding 1.82 miles in a 3K to 2 miles.  For more generous givers can give in 3 categories:  SILVER donations of $50, GOLD donations of $75 and PLATNUM donations of $100.  All participants have one week to complete the walkathon beginning June 6th at 6:00AM and ending on Saturday, June 13th at 11:59PM.  Registration is FREE for this event.  Open registration begin, Friday May 1st at 12:01AM and close Friday, June 13th at 11:59PM.  There will be GIVEAWAYS for those who donate $30 and more to show our appreciation for going the extra mile.

All proceeds collected from donations will be used to help  support our cause to help others who suffer in silence dealing with illnesses in times of crisis to help, “Navigate Through a Time Such as This!”
