The "Duck Dash Downtown" 5K & Fun Run to Benefit Advocates for Children

Join us for the 16th Running of the Duck Dash 5K and Kids Fun Run to benefit Advocates for Children! (www.advochild.org) The 2021 version brings  a new location, new route, new time, and new fun! But it’s still the longest consecutively running 5K in Bartow County, and for the same AMAZING cause! BUT..in a different location - DOWNTOWN CARTERSVILLE, GA!  And on a Saturday Evening!!  So welcome to the new:  "Duck Dash Downtown 5K"!

Event held Saturday evening, May 15th, in Downtown Cartersville where this amazing new race route  will be a fan favorite for years to come!  Everyone in downtown Cartersville will be able to cheer the runners on as they circle parts of the downtown retail area on loop course, running right down Wall Street 3 times!  Come early. Stay Late.  Visit Local Restaurants and be sure to join the crew from Advocates in Friendship Plaza after the race where our sponsors will be set up along with entertainment and the annual Duck Derby winners will be announced at 8:00 PM!  

Race Information:

• Date: Saturday May 15th.  

• 6:30 PM 5K Duck Dash Race Start

• 7:15 PM Kids Fun Run

• 7:45 Awards Presentation in Friendship Plaza, Downtown Cartersville

• 8:00 PM – Duck Derby Award Winners Announced!  

• $25 5K Pre-Race Registration (until Sunday evening May 9th) / $35 Race Day

• $15 Kids Fun Run Pre-Race Registration (until Sunday evening May 9th) $25 Race Day 

• Race Staging & Start / Finish Line(s) are located on the West Side of the Booth Western Art Museum on N. Museum Drive. 

• 5K is a fully automated Chip-Timed Race

• This is a Rain or Shine event! 

Regarding Pre-Race Packet Pick-up, It's a PARTY too! Please plan to join us Friday March 14th, anytime between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM at the Law Office of Glenda Mitchell located at 807 N. Tennessee St., #201, Cartersville, GA 30120. There will be food and music between the hours of 11 AM - 2 PM and 4 PM - 6 PM including Sam Holladay playing all of your favorite Country tunes!  Food Trucks will be available with every dollar spent being matched and going to back Advocates for Children from the Glenda Mitchell Law Firm!  There will be Corn Hole, Games and More! So Please plan to join us!! 

AWARDS: The Overall Winner (Male & Female) and the Overall Master (Male & Female) will receive an award.
The top 3 finishers (Male & Female) in each age group below will receive a medal.

Age Group Categories: 14 and Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
