Piedmont Rockdale presents the 3rd annual Turkey Trot!

Join us for a family-friendly walk to raise awareness and funds for Piedmont Rockdale Oncology Services. Step by step, you can help us make a difference in every life we touch and provide high-quality cancer care right here in our community. Piedmont Rockdale has expanded its services to include: A second 3D mammography machine for enhanced early detection, low-dose lung cancer screenings for high-risk patients, and a state-of-the-art infusion center overlooking a peaceful healing garden. Whether you’re walking in honor of a loved one, to stand with survivors and fighters, or simply to enjoy a morning of fun and fitness, we thank you! Proceeds from the Turkey Trot also benefit our new Cancer Wellness Program, which offers education, nutrition guidance, stress reduction, and support groups—improving quality of life at every stage of the cancer journey. Your participation helps build a healthier Rockdale.

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital – a 161-bed hospital, located in Conyers – dedicates itself to delivering unsurpassed medical care to the residents of Rockdale County and surrounding communities. We provide a range of services from cardiac rehabilitation and imaging to orthopedic services and stroke care. Piedmont Rockdale offers 24-hour emergency services plus major medical, surgical and diagnostic care.

As a 501(c)3 not-for-profit healthcare system, Piedmont relies on the generosity of donors to make many of our programs possible. The fact is, every patient who visits a Piedmont facility is touched by our donors, whose support makes it possible to buy new equipment, improve facilities, and expand research and education programs.

Event Information:

This event is rain or shine.

• 8:00 AM Check-In/Day of Registration
• 9:00 AM Opening Ceremonies/Trot Begins
• 12:00 PM Event Concludes

Walkers who arrive after the first lap has begun may begin walking at their leisure. Walkers may walk as many laps as they wish.

For your safety, please stay on the sidewalk or crosswalk areas. Watch for cars. In the event an air ambulance needs to land, a temporary, alternate path will be established.
