Race day registration is available starting at 7:30 AM! Please come and join us for a great run and fun time! 

Jail Dogs 5K & Fun Run hosted by Society of Humane Friends of Georgia -- The Fun Run will start at 8:30 AM.  The 5K will start at 9:15 AM. We encourage everyone to bring their dogs for this run to benefit rescue pets. After the race stick around for awards, food, beverage, the Jail Dogs and much more!!

Race Goodies:

All competitors who register early will receive the Jail Dogs 5K T-Shirt (late registration and day of only while supplies last).

There will be trophies/prizes awarded to the top finishers for both Men and Women Overall/Masters and in age groups - 3 deep. Awards will be given to the Top 3 Dogs crossing the finish line in the 5K.

Packet Pick-Up:

Participants who register online, In-store at Fleet Feet Lawrenceville Square Location, or via mail can pick-up their race number in advance at Fleet Feet Lawrenceville Square location: Friday, September 15th; 4pm to 6pm. Or pick-up their race number on the day of the race at Tribble Mill Park beginning at 7:30 am.  *NO race numbers are mailed. The 5K race is chip timed by Runners Fit Race Works.

$35 - 5K after August 30, 2023
$20 - Fun Run
$25 - Fun Run after August 30, 2023

Participation Rules:

For your dog’s safety, and to make this event enjoyable for all, participants must abide by the rules listed below. We encourage the participation of dogs that are accustomed to regular exercise and are well adjusted to crowds and noisy environments with large numbers of people and other dogs.

Dog must be current on all shots and rabies vaccination.
Dog must wear an ID Tag.
No dogs in heat and no aggressive dogs.
Dog must be leashed (6ft. max length) & in control. No retractable leashes please.
You must pick up after your dog. Disposable bags and water will be provided
Children must be at least 13 years old to participate with a dog without adult supervision.

Runners, walkers, strollers, all dogs welcomed!
